Pre-Owned 2010 Toyota Highlander Base FWD in Sherwood, AR

The 2010 Toyota Highlander Base represents the entry-level configuration within the Highlander lineup, designed to balance practicality, efficiency, and affordability for consumers seeking a midsize SUV. This model is distinguished by its front-wheel-drive system paired with a 2.7-liter inline-four engine that generates 187 horsepower and 186 lb.-ft of torque, coupled with a six-speed automatic transmission. Unlike higher trims offering all-wheel drive and V6 powertrains, the Base prioritizes fuel economy and moderate towing capabilities, making it suitable for everyday commuting as well as light recreational use. Its EPA-estimated fuel consumption of approximately 20 miles per gallon in city driving and 27 miles per gallon on highways underscores its efficiency relative to larger or more powerful competitors. The vehicle’s dimensions provide ample space without compromising maneuverability; however, the Base trim seats five passengers rather than seven due to the omission of third-row seating available in upper trims. In terms of interior design and amenities, the 2010 Highlander Base offers a functional cabin equipped with essential features such as air conditioning, cruise control, and an audio system compatible with MP3 playback. While it lacks some luxury appointments found in Sport or Limited versions-such as leather upholstery or advanced infotainment systems-the interior remains comfortable and user-friendly. Cargo space is generous when rear seats are folded down, enhancing versatility for passenger transport or hauling needs. Standard safety equipment includes anti-lock brakes and multiple airbags across all trims, reflecting Toyota’s commitment to occupant protection during this model year.
